Privacy Policy

Last updated: April 8, 2026

1. Introduction

iLive (“we”, “us”, or “our”) is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use our liveness detection and identity verification services (the “Service”), our website, and any related applications.

By using our Service, you consent to the data practices described in this policy. If you do not agree, please do not use our Service.

2. Information We Collect

2.1 Information You Provide

  • Contact information: Name, email address, company name, phone number, and any message you submit through our contact or demo request forms.
  • Account information: If you create an account, we collect your name, email, and login credentials.

2.2 Biometric Data

When end-users complete a liveness verification, our Service captures facial imagery via the device camera. This data is processed in real-time to perform the liveness check. Biometric data is processed transiently and is not permanently stored. Once a verification session concludes, facial imagery is deleted. Only the verification result (pass/fail) and metadata are retained.

2.3 Automatically Collected Data

  • Device information: Browser type, operating system, device model, and screen resolution.
  • Usage data: Pages visited, time spent, clicks, and referring URLs.
  • Log data: IP address, access times, and server logs for security and diagnostics.

3. How We Use Your Information

  • To provide, maintain, and improve our Service.
  • To process and respond to demo requests, inquiries, and support tickets.
  • To perform liveness verification and deliver results to our business customers.
  • To detect and prevent fraud, abuse, and security threats.
  • To comply with legal obligations and enforce our agreements.
  • To send important service updates. We do not send marketing emails without your explicit consent.

4. Data Sharing and Disclosure

We do not sell your personal data. We may share information in the following circumstances:

  • With business customers: Verification results (pass/fail, confidence scores) are shared with the organization that initiated the verification session.
  • Service providers: We use trusted third-party providers for hosting, analytics, and support, bound by data protection agreements.
  • Legal compliance: When required by law, regulation, legal process, or enforceable government request.
  • Business transfers: In connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, your data may be transferred as part of the transaction.

5. Data Retention

Contact form submissions are retained for as long as necessary to follow up on your inquiry. Verification session metadata is retained in accordance with regulatory requirements and our customer agreements. Biometric data is deleted immediately after processing.

6. Data Security

We implement industry-standard technical and organizational measures to protect your data, including encryption in transit (TLS) and at rest, access controls, regular security audits, and with ISO 27001 and SOC 2 Type II compliance in view. However, no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure.

7. Your Rights

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to:

  • Access the personal data we hold about you.
  • Request correction of inaccurate data.
  • Request deletion of your data.
  • Object to or restrict processing of your data.
  • Withdraw consent at any time (where processing is based on consent).
  • Data portability — receive your data in a structured, machine-readable format.

To exercise these rights, contact us at privacy@iliveauth.com.

8. International Data Transfers

Your data may be processed in countries outside your own. Where we transfer data internationally, we ensure appropriate safeguards are in place, including Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) approved by relevant authorities.

9. Cookies

Our website uses essential cookies to ensure proper functionality. We do not use third-party tracking cookies. Analytics, if used, rely on privacy-respecting, anonymized methods.

10. Children's Privacy

Our Service is not directed at individuals under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us and we will promptly delete it.
